staigue fort house 100 years 2015

Staigue Fort House (we’re still known locally as Staigue Fort Hotel or Staigue Fort House Hotel) is an historic house with bar and bed and breakfast accommodation. We celebrated our 100th! birthday in 2015. Situated close to the Staigue Fort, we have an exhibition area by our café dedicated to the rich archaeology of the area and in particular to the fort. We are located right on the Ring of Kerry and the Wild Atlantic Way, and conveniently close to the wonderful walking route, the Kerry Way.

Have a look at the Ordnance Survey map on the Contact Us page to see just how close we are.

Sit at our cosy friendly bar  with open fire. We’re open right throughout the year. Stay connected with our complimentary wifi for guest use.
Our reasonably priced accommodation is bright and airy with large windows looking out on the surrounding countryside. B & B is Euro 35 per night per person in the high season. Credit cards are accepted.

Start your journey by viewing the Staigue Fort Exhibition by the café and then go on to visit the Fort. Talk a guided walk with our in-house archaeologist. Why not spend some time on our site to discover some of the unique places and activities that await you.

With thanks to Fáilte Ireland for all the encouragement and support.
